Kevin Ericson got his start in real estate flipping distressed properties back in 2006. He immediately loved the process of bringing a neglected living space into the 21st century through a creative process that came from the heart and has carried his love of real estate to the New York City market since 2013.
Formerly a Senior R&D Research Associate for a multi-billion dollar pharmaceutical company, Kevin considers himself to be an old-school data nerd. "I love pulling large swaths of data and running spreadsheets to determine a property’s market value," he said, "and then leveraging 21st century marketing to maximize my client’s position." His background in studying cancer, osteoporosis and chronic inflammatory diseases, has honed research skills that he has carefully adapted to his real estate valuations.
Kevin believes strongly in family, diversity and community. “Family is everything.” He says, “Community is so important to the health and well being of our families because the communities we build together will serve to shape our children’s upbringing. They will then, in turn go out and shape the world in a way that is consistent with the individuals they have become.”
Kevin aspires to not only help clients traverse the often-complicated process of purchasing a home in NYC, but also to help them find spaces and communities that are a good fit for their interests, passions and values. In his opinion, New York City’s greatest strength lies in its unparalleled diversity. “Here, diversity is such a major part of the City’s makeup that there is truly something for everyone," he believes, "and the key to having a fulfilling living environment, is to recognize and tap into those passions and find a place that speaks to you as a unique individual."
Kevin's hobbies include. cooking, baking, reading (everything), SCUBA diving, whitewater rafting, home improvement, cycling, gaming, and facilitating art, dance and other creative expression with my son. As a volunteer, he has donated time to the NYCares program teaching adults basic computer applications and online hygiene.
